Academic Achievement is tremendously important to the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha. The very first line of our creed talks about the opportunity to learn as a sister of ZTA. To participate in formal Sorority Recruitment at Kutztown University, a student must have a minimum GPA of a 2.5. When a sister in ZTA has a GPA of 2.5 or below, she is placed on Academic Probation, and works along side our chapter's Academic Achievement Chairman to improve her grades and study habits. Each ZTA Collegiate Chapter has its own Academic Achievement Program to fit the needs of its members and its campus. Through incentives, programs, recognition, mentoring, and goal setting, our sisters can develop their academic skills to the highest achievement. We are very proud of our sisters who achieve good grades, and many of our sisters are involved in Honors Societies for their excellent academics. 

Zeta Tau Alpha also provides its members with an online resource known as Crowning Achievements. Crowning Achievements is ZTA’s comprehensive academic program that gives members the skills to excel in their goals and prepare for their career path. It provides helpful strategies members can use right away to manage their time, better their study skills, relieve stress and plan for next steps after college. Crowning Achievements includes online components as well as in-person chapter programs.
